Here are 41 great ways to use your phone’s camera.

For important documents:

1. Take pictures of the front and back of your credit cards and keep them in a secure storage application on your smartphone, like Secret Apps or Lockit. Then, when you want to buy things online, just take a look at the pictures instead of taking out your wallet.

2. Keep a photo of your driver’s license and / or ID / passport in a secure storage application on your phone.

3. Take a picture of the inside of your wallet, showing just a portion of each card to identify them. That way, if you have your wallet stolen, you can refer to the photo to determine which cards you need to replace.

4. Take a picture of your license plate for use with parking meters when necessary. I can never remember my license plate number when I need it, so it was really helpful!

5. Keep a picture of your pet and identification card. This way, you can immediately report your absence if your cat or puppy is missing!

6. Take pictures of your store loyalty cards. (Do not forget to make sure your ID is visible in the photos!)

For the things you like:
