7500 crore deal between Airtel and Nokia, network will be made better

India’s leading telecom company Bharti Airtel has announced an agreement with Nokia. Under this, Nokia will give gears to improve Airtel’s network of different circles across the country.

A Rs 7,500 crore deal has been signed between Nokia and Airtel, the company that makes telecom equipment, to improve the 4G network. The deal amount is being run by the sources.

Under this deal, Airtel has been signed for 9 circles, which will boost the network and the experience of Airtel users will be better than before.

A joint statement of Airtel and Nokia states, ‘This rollout will lay the foundation for 5G connectivity in the future and under this, 3 lakh radio units will be installed on different spectrum bands’.

According to Bharti Airtel, this deal has been done to establish SRAN i.e. Sing Radio Access Network in different circles of the country. End users will benefit from this and they will get better 4G service.

In a press release issued by the company, it said that due to this deal, the foundation of 5G connectivity in the future will also be ready.

Under this agreement of Airtel and Nokia, 3 lakh radio units will be deployed in different spectrum bands. These include 900 Mhz, 1800 Mhz, 2100 Mhz and 2300 Mhz. Companies have expected that this will be completed by 2022.

This can be called the foundation of 5G in the country for Airtel, because Nokia will provide network equipment to Airtel and all these will be ready for 5G network as well.
