Budget 2019 Key highlight: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has presented a budget, in which several important announcements have been made. Learn the key points related to the budget, which the interim finance minister has published.

The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced the Interim Budget 2019. All sections have been specially taken care of in this budget. The government has made several other important announcements in this budget under the ‘All along, Sabka Vikas’ agenda. Because of the election year, many populist announcements were already being expected in the budget.

Keeping in view the expectations of the government, the government has made several important announcements keeping in view the middle class and the farmers. It is also worth mentioning here that due to the sickness of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley this time, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal presented the budget, who has been given additional charge of Finance Ministry in absence of Jaitley. Let us know 10 important things related to the budget:

✔ After presenting the budget, Finance Minister Piyush Goyal is holding a press conference. He has put his point in the main points related to the budget in this press conference.

✔ He said that in this budget workers have been given attention. 12.5 million farmers will benefit in the budget. He said that the budget has enthusiasm in the country. The problem of small and marginal farmers will be overcome.

✔ The interest of domestic workers in the budget has been given attention. He said that a blueprint of how the government has worked in the last 5 years has been kept during the budget speech.

✔ The government will discuss the tax slab in the next budget. However, one class which was necessary to give relief. So relief has been given to 30 million taxpayers.

✔ Every taxpayer will be able to save tax of 13 thousand rupees. Now the second house will not have to pay taxes.
Those people whose salary is more than Rs. 5 lakhs have been kept in the old tax slab.

✔ To accelerate the cheap house, the new project will be eligible for income tax under section 80 (i) BA till March 31, 2020.
Soon, the government will implement a new system, with the help of which income tax can be paid within 24 hours.

✔ While declaring a major change in the Income Tax slab, the government proposed tax rebate on income of up to Rs 5 lakh, which had a limit of Rs 2.5 lakh so far. This will benefit 30 million middle-class families.

✔ The Government also said that the standard deduction from Rs 40 thousand to Rs 50 thousand rupees. At the same time, the government announced no tax to the extent of 40 thousand rupees on the interest of FD in banks, which had limit of Rs.10 thousand till now.

✔ Making a big announcement for the small-marginal farmers, the Finance Minister said that the farmers of two hectares will be paid directly to the 6 thousand rupees annually. This scheme will be applicable from 1 December 2018. This scheme of government will benefit about 12 crore farmers.

✔ The government will start the Kamdhenu scheme for cows. The Commission will also be formed for fish farming. For loans for animal husbandry and pisciculture, a 2% discount will be given in the loan.

✔ The Government, making a significant announcement for the working people, said that the recommendations of the Pay Commission will be implemented soon. The new pension scheme will be made easy for the government employees.

✔ The government has given a bonus of 7 thousand rupees to the workers working on less than 21 thousand monthly salary. Along with this the limit of gratuity was announced to increase to 30 lakhs.

✔ The Prime Minister’s Labor Yogi Mann Yojana has been approved, which will benefit the employees earning 15 thousand rupees. In the event of accidental death of the worker, a compensation of Rs. 6 lakh has been announced.

✔ While making the important announcement, the government said that those who have an EPF will be given insurance of Rs. 6 lakhs.
Keeping in mind the women, the government announced a major announcement and said that the government has given six crore women LPG connections under the Ujjwala scheme. Under this scheme, 8 crore and LPG connections will be given to women.

✔ Presenting the budget, the Finance Minister said that AIIMS is being built on the lines of Delhi’s AIIMS to provide quality health care to the people across the country. Under this, 22nd AIIMS of the country is going to start in Haryana.

Earlier, in his budget speech, the Finance Minister said that his government broke the waistline price tag. They described inflation as a tax on poverty. During the budget speech, the Finance Minister once again talked about giving home to all the people till 2022. The Finance Minister said that by 2014, there were about 2.5 crore households in the country without electricity, but with good luck, the government provided free connections for electricity to many households. All houses will get electricity till March 2019
