Five Tips for Your Shop Layout

by on

Whether visitors actually buy from you? That depends on many factors.
Just think of your assortment, your staff , yes – even the design of your store.

Therefore, especially for you: five tips for your shop layout .

Tip 1: keep it tidy

Make sure your business is spic and span . Dust is out of the question. Keep your aisles free. And display your assortment clearly – as a coherent whole.

Tip 2: choose a nice interior

A well-thought-out interior attracts and ensures a favorable buying mood. Match the design with the DNA of your case. Choose sustainable materials. And don’t go too trend-sensitive: you don’t want the design of your store to become obsolete after a year?

Tip 3: create fun

The longer the visitor stays in your shop, the better. Keep it with you by making it cozy . Install a men’s seating area in your ladies’ boutique – with TV and a coffee maker. Or provide your kids ‘sandwich bar with a kids’ corner: children, mums and dads are at ease.

Tip 4: work with screens

Large screens  in stores are hot – they call it digital signage. What do you use them for? Suppose you have a pasta house. Display a video in which you rotate the fresh pasta. Or do you run a shoe store? Let your visitor surf via a touchscreen to your website where he has even more choice.

Tip 5: go for decoration

A too clean interior of your store can look cool. With the appropriate decoration, you create a homely atmosphere. Place a plant here and there. Hang up photos. Or print quotes on the wall that reflect the vision of your business.
