India will commence its campaign in 2019 against South Africa on June 5, while the final match against Pakistan will be on June 16. ICC formally announced the entire program for the World Cup 2019 on Thursday. World Cup 2019 will be played between England and Wales between 30 May and 14 July.
In the World Cup-2019, there
Test cricket has long been a priority for England, whether it’s their players, fans or administrators. However, after the defeat against Bangladesh in the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, it has changed after the team’s exit from the group stage. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be on 30 May. This time it is the responsibility of hosting England and Wales.
England and Wales Cricket Board chief Andrew Strauss has said that white ball cricket is equally important for him. Strauss dismissed head coach Peter Moores for Australia’s Trevor Bayliss in the exercise to strengthen the team in limited overs.
Since then, the fate of England’s limited overs team has changed, and the team records the highest score in ODIs twice. The team first scored 444 runs in 3 wickets against Pakistan in Trent Bridge in 2016 and then scored 481 for six wickets on the same ground last year.
Former England batsman Eoin Morgan leads the top-ranked ODI rankings, and includes Test captain Joe Root as well as aggressive batsmen like Jason Ryan, Alex Hales and Jos Buttler.
