At the 42nd AGM of Reliance Industries today, RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani unveiled the Jio Fiber plan, the much-talked-about fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) service. He spoke about its FTTH service during its annual general meeting. Some details are given in the meeting about this service. Jio Fiber services will start from 5 September. On this day the company will complete 3 years.

Reliance Jio made some big announcements at its annual general meeting, meeting the expectations of everyone. Initiating the event, Mukesh Ambani said that Jio is the fastest growing company. On September 5 this year, Jio will be 3 years old and on this day the company will launch the JioGigaFiber service. In this meeting Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Industries has received 15 million registrations so far. These registrations have met 1600 cities for home broadband service. JioGigaFiber will connect 20 million homes with this broadband service. The company aims to connect 20 million homes and 25 million businesses.
Jio GigaFiber Launch: Only the base plan of Jio Fiber Tariff will offer you 100 Mbps speed. Jio Fiber plans will cost from Rs 700 to Rs 10000 per month. Mukesh Ambani has announced that voice calls will be free forever. In the case of landline also, the company has reduced the rate of international calling significantly. The company has introduced calling plans in the US and Canada at the rate of Rs 500 per month. This will enable users to make unlimited international calling. Jio Fiber plans will come bundled and include OTT apps. Premium Jio Fiber users will be able to watch the picture sitting at home on the day of the movie’s release. The company has named it Jio First Day First Show. The service will launch in mid-2020.
