TikTok Banned in India, Now What? Know What the Company Says

by on

TikTok has 12 million monthly active users in India. After the order of the Madras High Court, this app has now been removed from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. That means new users will no longer be able to download it. But it is not that this app has stopped working and you will not be able to use it.

This statement of TikTok came after the Madras High Court order

We respect Arvind Dart’s decision to appeal to the Independent Council in the court by the Madras High Court. We believe in the Indian judicial system and we are optimistic about this matter that more than 120 million monthly active tick users in India will continue to use this app.

Significantly, Tictok’s parent company is byte dance and many applications come under it. It is a Chinese company and due to the News Reading App, its initial earnings. But since the tiktok, it has become more popular, investors started investing in it and its value was $ 75 billion.

India is a big market for TicTok and the company will also be able to change it in its policy to maintain it here. According to the report, Tiktok has already started filing filings in their commodities.

A spokesperson for the Tiktok told News 18 that the company has taken several steps for account security of users. Users can report the flow of any guideline. Users can report to an account and recently the Tick Talk has also filtered the comment section, so that users can choose self-defined words Hindi or English, so that they can not comment on which they do not like.

Although this step taken by Tiktok may not have any impact on the court, because it has ordered blocking it because it promotes porn and sex in children. But Tiktok has not yet issued any official statement on it nor has it said what the court has to say on this decision. Overall, banning can continue on the tiktok in the near future. We have asked for this statement from Tiktok and the statement by Google and Apple for blocking the app.
