Flipkart aims at 30% stake in online mobile phone sales in festival season

Flipkart Senior Director (Smartphone) Ayyappan Rajagopal said, "We believe that we will be able to further our position by the end of the festival season (Big Billion Day or BBD), our share will be 30-32 percent."

Rajgopal said, "During the festive sale, many handsets will be offered on our platform, they will have phone calls at all cost. We expect a strong growth in the range of Rs 10,000-15,000 and Rs 4,000-7,000." He said that according to the report of the phone industry, 39 percent of mobile phones in the country are sold through online platforms.
