Star cast: Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, and Raghuvir Yadav
Director: Sharat Katariya
Producer: Yash Raj Films
Maoji always says 'everything is fine' It is true that Sharat Kataria, who created the world of Maui's world, who made a beautiful movie like 'dum laga ke haisha', felt that everything in the world of fun is good. But, when he filmed it on the big screen, the audience felt it was not good at all. This story is Maoji (Varun Dhawan), specializes in embroidery and his wife Mamta (Anushka Sharma). Where Muoji works, he has joked there every day.
One day when the limit is crossed, then Mamata gets angry and she tells Maoji that she should stand on her own feet and after that, her struggle in her life is a struggle. In the entire film, there is a lot of bad luck with Maoji and Mamta. Going somewhere in the last 15 minutes, the audience gets some relief and it seems that something good happened in our hero-heroines life!
Weak screenplay, move on and off the story, makes the film cumbersome to use more than the need for regional language in the duplication of error in the error. However, a lot of effort has been made to make the film realistic. But the use of cinematic liberty more than it breaks the film's realism from time to time!
Talking about acting, Varun Dhawan set the stage for Jai Jaan, but unfortunately, director-writer Sharat Kataria made Mauji a very limited place to stand up! Anushka Sharma had so much to do with her, but Anushka could not show off her performance. Raghuvir Yadav's share came as much as he did.
The songs of the movie are not even supporting the film. The cinematography of Anil Mehta has made the film visible. Charu Shree Roy had to do a bit more work on editing. Altogether 'needle thread' is a film weaved with a raw thread. If this story was to be cooked a bit more then maybe it would have been better filmed!
